Unsnap your tarp strap. Each corner of the tarp has two buttons. Snap those onto each other. Once completed, your tarp should resemble a tray. Ensure that material underneath those tarp corners is pushed out and flattened so that your tarp has a rigid structure. The sides of the tarp should not bow out (to prevent soil from spilling out of the sides).

It is best to roll your tarp back up tightly and keep it rolled until your next use. This will help prevent bowing of the material when assembled and maintain product rigidity.
For the Astra Tarp specifically, it is more prone to scratches due to the nature of the material, so it’s helpful to keep this in mind for storage.

All tarp materials are hand measured and cut, so there will always be variations across each individual tarp.
Each roll of tarp material comes in different lengths, so we use the full measurement of the roll to create each product. For example, the Luna roll is shorter than the Astra, so the size between the two will automatically differ.
- Because of this, the mini and small sizes of each tarp are different because we maximize the available tarp material according to roll length in order to reduce product/material waste.

You can simply wipe the tarp down with a dry cloth for small messes.
For more thorough cleanings, you may rinse the tarp down with water and soap.
Air dry or, to prevent streaking, wipe dry with a towel.
- A fun tip is to snap the tarp strap onto itself to create a “loop” that can be used to hang the tarp while drying.
Alcohol is useful for any sticky substances.
Do NOT use acetone on any product or the vinyl will melt.

Imperfect tarps are brand new, fully functional tarps that have been made with COSMETIC or size imperfections to the material (extra scratches, creases, additional/mispunched holes, size varies from usual measurements) whether the imperfections originated from the material manufacturer or during assembly by La Vie Botanique.
These imperfections do not affect the USAGE of the tarp.
